Tess asks. She's pointing the flashlight at the mirror, the reflection casting a faded halo around the bathroom.\n\n"Well," Amy says, "We've got to join hands together. Tonight's the first time I've heard any of them, so I'm not sure which would be best..." Tess admits shyly. Tess also gets out of her sleeping bag so you do too.\n\n"Oh uh... 'U+Me' is really good! But so is 'I Luv U 4EVER' and '4Get Me Not'! The other tracks are really good too... oh man, I can't choose!" Amy says. As she pours over the track list she seems really conflicted.\n\n"I can help! Like, I haven't heard too many of their songs though. I'm totally sure I'll pick the right one though," Felix offers. I'll just go back to the spirit realm then...//" Bloody Mary sighs deeply. Slowly, she begins to withdraw her arms and hands back into the mirror. The ghost also begins to dull her glow as she becomes shadowy again.\n\n"[[Wait|AS12][$mr3 = "stay"]]!"\n\n<<if $mr3 is "stay">>The words are out of your mouth before you realize it. Bloody Mary's face is clear again as she looks at you in confusion.\n\n"Um... you could, join our sleepover... if you wanted." This surprisingly comes from Tess. Amy is your best friend since kindergarten. She loves listening to boy bands and making flower crowns. \n\nLately she's taken to wearing glitter on her body. The sparkles against her dark skin remind you of the beautiful and serene night sky.\n\nAmy is one inch shorter than you. Her dark brown eyes are like the tumbled spessartine gems your mother gave you: fiery and vibrant. \n\nTonight she's wearing her purple kitty cat pj's, her curly brown hair poking out from the hood. The pj's have a pouch in the belly where Amy snuck over the [[Quadruple Dudez's|quadsquad]] new album for you all to listen to. \n\n[[<-- back to the slumber party|Start]]

Tess has managed to turn the flashlight on, but is shaking tremendously and unable to hold the flashlight stable. Part of the light falls on the rose bush, momentarily giving the rose an eerie [[glow|FS10][$nancle = "desperate"]].\n\n"//I need my head!//" \n\n<<if $nancle is "desperate">>You're close enough to Tess that you could grab the [[flashlight|FS11][$nancyshead = "flashlight"]], even if your friend is scared of the dark.\n\nYou could also roll out from your friends and distract Headless Nancy and try to take the large yellow [[rose|FS11][$nancyshead = "glow"]].<<endif>>

"Alright so like, prepare to pee your pants," Felix says. They muffle a giggle, grinning devilishly at the three of you.\n\n"The story goes like this. Back in 19-who-cares, there was a girl named Nancy O'Henry. Nancy was lightyears ahead of popular trends. A lot of people thought she was totally psychic- she was wearing the coolest fashion before it even came out! Even movie stars looked to her for [[advice|FS2][$hn1 = "go"]].\n\n<<if $hn1 is "go">>"One day, a salesman approached Nancy at her house. He worked for a small company that specialized in scarves and wanted her to try some on. He reached into his briefcase and pulled out the last scarf. It was a Top Secret prototype, made of a special raylon-polyester-silk-macrame blend. He guaranteed it would be like, wearing a dream. He warned her to be very careful with the scarf, because the fabric blend made it very delicate and unpredictable. Nancy nodded but was too in love with the scarf to listen all the way. It made her feel like a queen. Like, positvely regal. Nancy suddenly remembered the salesman's words and tried to tear the scarf off. She wasn't strong enough though, and the scarf became so tight it popped her head clean [[off|FS4][$hn11 = "go"]]!<<endif>>\s\n\n\n<<if $hn11 is "go">>"Headless Nancy roams the city now, looking for her lost head and her beautiful scarf. If you call her name out in the darkness and turn three times in a circle, she'll appear. "Why would you need to go outside and turn in a circle?"\n\n"It's not silly. You're silly," Felix fires back. Amy is still a little sleepy and not entirely sure what the story is about still.\n\nIt's up to you to decide if Felix's story was [[scary|FS5a]] or [[not|FS5b]].<<endif>>

You take lead of the group, with Felix and Tess trailing behind you. Tess is carrying the flashlight with her. Amy is last of the group, shuffling as she fights her [[sleepiness|FS6][$ghost2_3 = "go"]].<<endif>>\s\n\n\n<<if $ghost2_3 is "go">>All of you quietly make your way out of the front door. The street outside is quiet, save for the humming florescent streetlights for company. At the end of the block you can see the thick haze of fog. There are several prime spots for summoning ghosts in your front yard. There is a small [[ring of mushrooms|FS7][$yard = "mush"]] under a crabapple tree; you remember it being called a 'fairy ring'. "Quadruple Dudez are so cool!" Amy said, pulling the booklet out of the CD's case. The cover has the four bandmate's standing together in linked arms.\n\n"Okay so...\n* Lawson's the purple one. He does lead vocals and plays the keyboard. He used to be solo, but now he's got his bros!\n* Travis is the pink one- he's so sensitive! He's on drums and plays scary fast beats. I heard he got in the band by winning a drum-off! \n* Jamboree is in blue; did you know eir is my fave? E plays bass guitar and does back-up vocals. Eir solo in 'U + Me' is really dreamy! \n* Lastly there's Simon in yellow. He's really quiet. Tess is your next door neighbour and is two years younger than you. She's very smart for someone as young as she is. Her skin tone reminds you of the dark warm sands of the dunes that carress your favourite lake at the north of town. Her dark green eyes are always looking down in some book.\n\nFor the slumber party, Tess' moms bought her new pjs. She seems pretty solemn but in the dark, you can see a mischievious glint in her eyes.\n\n"Once upon a time, there were two people... named Max and Alex. They were very close partners. Ever since childhood, they had been together. Max and Alex were young but they shared a strong bond. They would do anything for each [[other|TS2][$ll1 = "go"]].\n\n<<if $ll1 is "go">>"Max and Alex were also a very talented band duo. Max wrote and sang the words. Alex composed and played the chords. They got invited to do shows at a lot of venues. It even attracted comers from the neighbouring cities. The carnival boasted many attractions, but nothing beat the Summer Night Jamboree... Max and Alex had practiced extensively for the Summer Night Jamboree. They were the opening act and they had written new songs for the event exclusively. They were nervous but knew if they were there for each other, they could get through anything... Many had surrounded the stage for the Jamboree, so the crowd could buy snacks during the performances. The food vendors had to squeeze into a tight space across and way from the stage. An incoming cart accidentally bumped a funnel cake [[trailer|TS3][$ll6 = "go"]].<<endif>>\s\n\n\n<<if $ll6 is "go">>"The funnel cake trailer's brakes, a few boards, got nudged out of the way... The trailer started rolling out, inching along at first. Then it picked up speed, and a little more speed... The crowd in front of the stage managed to see the trailer coming toward them and moved out of the way. You can open your eyes a little wider and can see the lights are kind of like orbs.\n\n"We d-did!" Tess stutters out. The crackling becomes louder, snapping in your [[ears|TS9][$ghost5 = "heres"]].\n\n<<if $ghost5 is "heres">>"//Why did you disturb our sleep?//" the rough voice asks.\n\n"//What is the song you played to wake us?// the gravely voice asks.\n\nAmy and Felix start talking at the same time, their words overlapping each other in a jumble of gibberish.
