Automatic Install

To automatically install Ferret and add the game to your Start Menu open the file you 
have downloaded in WinZip and choose Install from the Actions Menu (Shift+I) or click
the Install button on the WinZip toolbar.

Some versions of Vista and Windows 7 do not support WinZip's Install feature in
compressed files. Open the downloaded file and run (double-click) the setup.exe program.

To start the game:
Double-click the Ferret icon on the desktop, or
Find the Ferret folder in the Programs list from the Start button and click on the
Ferret entry in the Ferret folder (above readme).

Semi-Automatic Install

Copy (or Extract) the contents of the downloaded zip file into a new folder, e.g.,
c:\Ferret.
Go to the new folder and run (double-click) the setup.exe program.

Manual Install

You can install the game manually as below:

The Ferret game package consists of 5 core files:

ferret.bat
ferret.exe
ferret.fhf
ibmws20.dll
hepws20.dll

Save all of the files from the release you have downloaded into "c:\Program Files\Ferret"
(you will need to create this Folder if you have not installed the game previously).
You can then add Ferret to your Programs Menu if required or add a shortcut to your desktop.

Double-click ferret.bat to start the game.

The uninstall.bat macro will remove Ferret from your PC. Copy uninstall.bat to a different
location (e.g., c:\) and run it to remove the game.
