Swooping down on leathery black wings, the flying monsters screetch futively as their claws scratch the top of the coupe. Sissy pedals faster and I take the first hard right into the kitchen. Coming to a screetching halt, Sissy smiles and says, "We're hooomme!" We both get out of the cozy coupe. Light spilling over from the playroom wards off the flying monsters who go dejected back to their perch atop the brass hallway light. ne The clicking at the computer stops and a chair rolls back across the tile floor of the playroom. Heavy feet pad towards the kitchen. As the light comes on, a confused Daddy stands in the doorway. "What are you two doing up?" he asks. "Daddy, the monsters tried to eat me!" With a smile he says, "Chloe, you know there aren't any monsters." "Are too," Sissy states. "No, Let's get you back into bed and take care of those monsters..." Picking me up and leading Sissy by the hand, Daddy returns us to our bedroom turning on all the lights along the way. There aren't any flying bats in the hallway. There is no lima bean monster in the closet or green tentacle slime monster under the bed. After tucking us in, Daddy checks everywhere and finds no monsters. Sitting on the edge of the bed, he says, "You see? There are no monsters." Drifting off to sleep I say, "Good night, Daddy". Getting up and turning off the light, Daddy remembers to plug-in a night light before leaving. The bed is warm and I can feel myself drifting into those pleasant dreams. My eyelids droop as the excitement wears off and tiredness kicks in. "Good night, " Daddy says gently closing the door, "Don't let the bed bugs bite..." What does he mean, "bed bugs"? I sit bolt upright and scream... You scored 40 out of the maximum 40! That is 100% of the game! Well done - you scored maximum points!
