I. ZIP Bundle Contents

The zip bundle contains this readme file, two forms of the game, and a game 
map in PDF format (open in Adobe Acrobat or other PDF reader). 

The .t3 file can be played in a TADS3.1 compatible game engine (not all TADS3 
engines can play a 3.1 version---best bet is to obtain one from 
http://www.tads.org/tads3.htm which has versions for Windows, Macintosh, and 
Linux.

The .exe file is a self contained interpretor/game file that runs in Microsoft 
Windows. Just double click on it to open the game in its own interpreter 
window.

Both versions were compiled from the same source code, so they should be 
identical in game play.

II.  Avoiding the Sex Scenes

The game includes two scenes in which the player character is sexually 
assaulted (though without explicit blow by blow narrative). The game can 
be played without encountering these scenes.

During the early part of the game, when the player is seeking an apartment, 
the realty agent will offer an upgrade to the obvious choice. If you refuse 
the upgrade, the game will continue in the same way, but again without the 
sexual encounter. 

If you don't explicitly tell the realty agent to stop, and you have chosen 
fame as the goal to be granted to you by the contract with Lucy, a theatrical 
agent will also attempt to force himself on you. If you tell the agent to 
stop, the game will again proceed without the sexual encounter.
