o0o THE VALSHAR'S LAIR o0o 0 (La Guarida Valshar) NOTE: This is my first PC interactive fiction adventure that I developed by October of 1997. Now, December of 1998 I decided to translate it into english. It hasn't very hard, I only had to translate the Vocabulary and Messages tabs of my parser DISAC, being the Events tabs valid for both spanish and english versions. I hope you excuse any grammar error _____________________________________________________________________________ This game is FREEWARE. _____________________________________________________________________________ INSTRUCTIONS. The 640x480x256c video mode only works with SVGA VESA compatible cards. To play without graphics type: valshae t This is the 640x480x256c video mode code: asm{ mov ah,0x4f // subfuncti¢n from interruption 10h... mov al,0x2 // 1.02h puts video mode... mov bx,0x101 // 640x480x256c int 0x10 // VESA driver, interruption 10h } The adventure was compiled with an antique Turbo Borland C++ 1.01. What I want with this version is to test the ASM routine upwards, as I don't want to create another adventure. The graphics was rendered with 3D and photoediting programs. A few are pencil drawings and some portraits are from H. Clark(elf, goblin & wizard),guy whom I don't know so much cos he don't appears at the encyclopedia, only that he lived a century before I am living. _____________________________________________________________________________ a28315@aq.upm.es genhag@yahoo.com My page: (in spanish and a few in english) http://members.es.tripod.de/gen/some.html _____________________________________________________________________________ type VALSHAE to join . fhsw
