Quest for the Homeland, by Nikita Veselov Description: You are in charge of a caravan with the last hundred survivors of your nation. Their fate depends on how much you know yourself. Author Statement: It's quite an experiment: mechanics-based game with wide use of random generation in a fantasy setting. You will have a different journey each time you start, so I encourage you to give it a few tries. In terms of genre, my idea was to do something like a survival strategy as far as possible, so it's rather epic then intimate story. Choices do have consequences, even dramatic. Besides, English is not my native, take my apologies if despite all efforts you tolerate some mistakes (and I'd highly appreciate if you let me know of those). P.S. It's better to use online version, as there are few formatting tricks you won't see in the Ink app. System: Ink Entered In: Main Festival Tags: ink This story was entered in the 2020 Spring Thing Festival of Interactive Fiction.
