This is the README file for the WinPaw Engine

This is the 6.0 version of the WinPaw Engine

The WinPaw Engine is the Adventure Game Playing portion of WinPaw. It
may be run on Windows 95 or later and any version of Windows NT.

To install the Engine, UnZip and run the setup program.
If you have not installed the MDAC 2.5 libraries, (see the note below)
install them FIRST or you will get an error installing the WinPaw Engine.

The executable will be installed to your c:\Program Files\WinPawEngine folder, 
unless you change it.

This program requires the Microsoft MDAC 2.5 libraries to run the
program and the HTML Help Viewer to use Help. The Help Viewer has been
included in the .CAB. The MDAC library has not. The installation program for
this can be found from the http:\\www.winpaw.com Downloads page.

is in the Help under WinPaw Version History and on the
www.winpaw.com Web Site.

This is the Complete version of the WinPaw Engine.  It should be 
installed if you have NOT installed the WinPaw Engine before.


Support for problems with the WinPaw IDE or Engine will be handled
by E-Mail to support@winpaw.com. See the Help for information to 
include when reporting bugs or problems.

Version History in the Help will describe most of the changes and 
fixes.  A few new tags have been added  They are shown in the 
'Descriptions in WinPaw' help page, which can be found by going to the 
help for any of the editors which use descriptions and clicking on 
that link. IF YOU FIND ANY BUGS, LET ME KNOW BY EMAIL 
(support@winpaw.com) EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID TO CAUSE THE ERROR.
