To the west, not too far away, you can see a tremendously tall oak tree, the biggest one you've ever seen. To the north the pine forest stretches all the way to the north valley wall, with only one small break that might be a clearing. To the northwest you can see the word 'Start' engraved on the west valley wall, where you entered this nightmare. You curse your greed again, and promise yourself that no matter how tempting, you'll never steal another treasure map as long as you live. To the northeast you can see a bare hill top and near it the glint of open water. Staring intently you can make out what look like ledges on the east valley wall. From this vantage point the mound looks almost like a fat snake.
