PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT You wake up in the middle of the night, you brow is covered in a thin film of sweat, a strangly dressed character grasps your arm and tries to hurry you along down to the kitchen. He asks you to open the back door, you do so without hesitation, you wake out into the back garden, the flowers are blooming, it is quite amazing that you can see this as it is pitch dark. A long slender beam of light appears in front of you, it is coming from a cloud in the sky. (NOTE: Most clouds can be found in the sky.) The ray of light engulfs you, you start to float upwards, it is quite an idiosyncratic feeling. The next thing you know you're in the middle of a bar, everyone around you is drinking what seems to be Mineral Water, you take a sip of one which is on the bar, you feel automatically groggy, this is very powerful stuff. The character which had so recently hurried you along drags you to a bar-stool and starts to talk to you at a furriating speed. Firstly he starts to explain that the mineral water which you had dared to taste was being used as a special high density rocket fuel in his own solar system. He then explains that you're sitting on a galatrek travelling chair, after that and some confusing garble he tells you that you only have to sit in one and say where you want to go and it will send you to a holographic representation of that particular place. A large deep voice booms out through the bar, it exclaims. "The computer which has total control of the chairs is malfunctioning, if you don't wish to be sent to a random death then remove your backsides from the chairs, NOW." With all the confusion you don't have a clue as to what to do, you simply sit in your chair and go into an immensly large huff. You feel the back of your chair get softer and softer, you gradually sink deeper and deeper into the chair, you are eventually engulfed by the leather of the chair, your view of the bar changes to blackness, you find yourself floating in a dark thick blackness. You think you black out, as it is totally black and you can't see anything it is hard to tell. When you come to again you are in the middle of a large nest, a voice booms out. "If you wish to get back alive you can do so and help us at the same time, it seems that the computer has sent you into its' own data banks, it has changed the scenery at different points, we've managed to find out from the computer that it has hidden several stones among it landscape, together the stones can me changed into a micro-chip via and magic spell, once you have the chip place it into the machine, you will then be transported back here. Good luck, by the way, if you don't make it, if I knew you it would have been nice, I'm sure." You slump to the ground and ponder on what to do, this is where you come in, good luck, if you need any help contact the SLYsoftware address. SAVE ----- This saves your position in the game. After typing SAVE the computer will ask you if you wish to change the directory, this means that you may keep your saved positions in a different DOS directory that the actual game files. Type N. This tells the computer that you'll stay in the same directory. This is the best thing to do. Next you will be asked to give the name of the position you want saved. Call the saved position something that'll let you know when you go to restore your position exactly where you were at. After typing in the name and pressing enter you'll go ack to the game. RESTORE ----- This restores your saved position. After typing RESTORE you get asked pretty much the same as in the save procedure. Change the directory if your saved files are in another directory. The computer will now give you a list of all the save files in that directory. Type the name of one in and it'll load you back into that position. QUIT ------ This exits the game to DOS. It will ask you if you are definite, type y and return to go to DOS and n if you wish to re-enter the game. Another useful verb is COLOURS. Type this and you will be given a list of possible screen colours. If you wish to change the screen colours then follow the example. NOUNS. These are the objects in the game. You may examine them by typing EXAMINE NOUN, noun beign the name of the object you wish to examine.
