PMA Glulxe 0.4.0
====================

This is the Archos PMA430 port of Andrew Plotkin's Glulxe, an 
interpreter for Glulx format interactive fiction adventure 
games. For more information on Glulx, see

Getting Started
---------------

To install, copy the ipk into your "Documents" directory, then 
use the "Software Packages" program on your PMA. Select "Install 
from Documents Folder" and then select GlulxeGlkTerm. Then 
you'll probably need to reboot.

To run Glulxe, open a terminal and type:

   glulxe <name of game>

where "<name of game>" is the Glulx story file you wish to run.
To test Glulxe out, download Andrew Plotkin's example game 
"Sensory Jam" from

    ftp://ftp.gmd.de/if-archive/games/glulx/sensory.blb


GlkTerm
-----------

For input and output Glulxe uses the GlkTerm version of Glk.
Glk is a platform independent API for interactive fiction games. 
The GlkTerm version will not allow the use of many of the 
multimedia elements of some Glulx games. However, all Glulx games 
will play, but a message will inform you when something has not 
been displayed (or played) that ordinarily would have been.
