This is a TRS-80 adventure by Greg Hassett. It can be played on a TRS-80 emulator, such as Jeff Vavasour's IBM PC Model I emulator (available from oak.oakland.edu in /pub/msdos/emulators), or on a TRS-80 Model I. (It may also work on a TRS-80 Model III, or Model IV in III mode, but I haven't tested it). If its extension is CMD it is a machine-language program, if BAS a Level II BASIC program. Greg Hassett's adventures are similar to Scott Adams': two-word commands and fiendish puzzles. His BASIC games are fairly simple, but the machine language games are far more challenging. Greg Hassett was best-known back in the days of the TRS-80 for having written his first adventure when he was 13. These games save and load to cassette tape. If you are using a TRS-80 emulator, chances are you don't have a "virtual cassette" option. You can, however, save the game quite effectively simply by saving the entire "image" of the running emulated TRS-80; on the registered version of Vavasour's TRS-80 emulator this is available by pressing F3. Other emulators may have a similar feature. Greg Hassett can be found on COMPUSERVE, at the Internet address: 71333.2163@compuserve.com. However, he does not have any copies of his games nor any hints to give out. He has agreed to release these games into the public domain. - David Librik
