Level 9 for Mac OS X

The accompanying file "Level9.iso" is a disk image which contains the Level 9 application and supporting documents &c. The application will run on Mac OS X 10.2.8 or higher, PPC or Intel. To install the application do as follows:

Mac OS X:

Double-click the disk image and it will mount on your desktop as a removable disk. A window will open and you simply drag the contents to wherever you would like to store them on your hard drive.

Linux/Unix/Windows

Obviously you can't install a functioning application from this distro but if for some reason you want to get at some of the support files then you can do it as follows:

Linux/Unix: Again, double-click the ISO disk image and (in the vast majority of modern distros) you will be at least asked if you want to open the file for editing/burning or mount it as a disk.

Windows (2000, XP, Vista, 7): does not suport mounting of disk images of any form natively but there are any number of free, shareware and commercial utilities to do it. One example is:

Alternatively, you can burn the image to a CD/DVD and mount that normally.
