2. SAVING AND RESTORING

Type SAVE at the game prompt. You will be asked for a save file
name then.  Enter a name without .EXTension, no leading numbers
(e.g. 1TRY...will be ignored for RESTORE list).

Type RESTORE at any time. You will be offered a choice of all
save files in the current directory (i.e., all files NOT
beginning with a number carrying the default EXTension .$AV.)
Type your choice and ENTER.


3. PLAYING THE GAME

If you want to make the most of the PYRAMID, be sure to EXAMINE
everything you come across. The game parser understands the
adventure game standard verbs (take, drop, attack...) and a few
special verbs as WAVE, TRADE, BUY, GIVE, FILL etc.  You will
find out soon what is possible and what isn't.  For certain
tasks in the quest you will need things from other places or
will need to give away things in order to get others. 
You can TALK to creatures you encounter by typing TALK TO
<creature> or ASK/TELL <creature> ABOUT <thing/creature>.
In most places THE PYRAMID will tell you the possible directions
in the STATUS LINE at the top of the screen. E.g.:
   South of Pyramid  >N S E W
means you may move in all cardinal directions. >ALL means all
directions of the compass, but not UP/DOWN. 

4. SCORING AND WINNING

You will be awarded score points for certain achievements in the
game, but you may as well lose points for other actions...
When you QUIT, die or win you will be told how many points out
of the total you have scored. Sometimes your actual score will
be higher than the total possible score, due to the absolute
absurdity of the game's scoring system.
Note, however, that you do not need to score any ammount of points 
in order to WIN the game! The game is won by DOING THE RIGHT THING 
rather than GETTING MANY ITEMS.
