Subject: [Announcement] "Softporn Adventure", Inform Release 0 (Beta)

   I have uploaded the Inform port of Softporn Adventure to gmd and my own
ftp server.  Please remember that this is a very early beta port of the
game.  At the moment I don't have the time to finish fixing the bugs or
writing hints.

   The following things have yet to be finished:

   1. The "CALL" verb is a very ugly piece of code, it really should be
      completly re-written. Currently, you must type the phone number
      without spaces or a dash. For example, the number "555-0000" should
      be typed as "CALL 5550000" or "CALL 0000". "CALL 555-0000" and
      "CALL 555 0000" will NOT work.

   2. There are no hints in the game but the hint system is in place.  So,
      no matter where you are in the game, it will always report that no
      hints are available.

   3. There are most likely quite a few bugs left in the game, I haven't
      had time to beta test it much.

   If someone were interested in sending me a hint list (along the lines
of the Invisiclues style) and/or a "CALL" verb that works I would be most
happy to use it. Also, if you wish to modify the source and upload an
improved version, please email me first.

   The source code is only on my ftp sight because it's not really ready
for release but some people may want to take a look at it.  If I ever
release a revision of this game I will upload that source to GMD.
