RunQuill - A Wizard program to play games written with The Quill. RunQuill takes snapshot files of ZX Spectrum games written with The Quill and plays them on the Wizard. It takes SNA (ZX Spectrum snapshot), CPC (Amstrad CPC6128 snapshots) or S64 files (Commodore 64 snapshots produced by VICE). SNA files that can either be produced directly by many ZX Spectrum emulators or you can use Philip Kendall's SnapConv to convert to SNA from other formats. Using The Quill and a ZX Spectrum emulator you can now create your own adventures and run them on the Wizard. Adventures I have tested with RunQuill are Sub-Sunk from Firebird Devil's Island from Gilsoft Quill Demo from Gilsoft Rifts of Time from Gilsoft Loads of Midnight from CRL (run as late) Retarded Creaturs and Caverns from Zenobi (run as late) also reported to be working is Bugsy The Colour of Magic Hampstead Robin Of Sherlock The Secret of St Brides The Very Big Cave Adventure RunQuill is copyright 2002 by Staffan Vilcans, but I don't make a big deal out of it. Thanks ****** Thanks should go to the following people who have contributed to RunQuill: John Elliott - http://www.seasip.demon.co.uk who wrote the UnQuill program that RunQuill is very much based on. Lawrence Chitty who wrote the very nice and fast file access routines. Alexander R. Pruss who made the ozlib used for this program and also helped to get it running.
