The game is an interactive fiction serial, with each chapter inspired by different 80s movies. Here, in this demo release, the first episode is inspired by 1980 movies Smokey and the Bandit II and Any Which Way You Can. There are four more episodes to come set in 1980 inspired by other movies released that year. If you'd like to be kept up to date on Zeitgeist 1980's development you are invited to either sign up for my email newsletter or, more directly, support me on patreon. Patrons will get new releases ahead of the general public release. Plus, it helps me afford the art and music I commission for the game! What's next? Well, to fund all the art and music I'm going to need for the next three episodes (and beyond), I'll likely need to run a kickstarter. Look for that in early 2021, and consider using either the newsletter or patreon links above to keep up-to-date. Thank you for your interest in the game. Michael Coorlim
