This archive (hopefully) sets up everything you need to run Inform 6.21 on an Acorn RISC OS machine. The Absolute file "inform6" is the actual compiler, and should be renamed "inform" and moved to your hard disc's library directory. Then type inform -h at the (f12) command line for further details. The source code for "Advent" is included, to get started with: try typing inform -x advent and a game file called "Advent" should then be present in the "games" directory. To play this, or any Infocom or other Inform games, you need an interpreter: I suggest Kevin Bracey's (freeware) !Zip2000, probably available from the place where this came from. Note that manuals are not contained in this archive: they're also available (free of charge) separately. Graham Nelson NB: Inform6 (vsn 6.21) and this archive was compiled by Jon Ripley mailto:jon@stryker.freeserve.co.uk. Files RelNote and RelNote2 accompany the Inform library 6/10 as found in this archive. I attach no additional conditions to the use and distribution of this archive or software.
